The finding the natural ingredients for treatment of Menstrual Dysfunction is considered as a dream of many scientist to replace the long term usage adverse effect of conventional medicine.
Unfortunately, many compounds found effective in initial studying failed to confirm the potential in  large sample size and multi center.

Menstrual Dysfunction is an is an abnormal condition in a woman'smenstrual cycle, including Amenorrhea, Menorrhagia, Oligomenorrhea, etc. Recent studies reported by several respectable organizations, Korean red ginseng attenuated the endocrine disrupting chemicals, such as bisphenol A (BPA) and malondialdehyde (MDA), an oxidative stress biomarker and alleviated 'menstrual irregularity', 'menstrual pain', and 'constipation'(1).
Dan'e-fukang soft extract, a herbal formula including Panax ginseng inhibited the occurrence of lower abdomen and lumbosacral pain prior to menstruation, when passing, or after menstruation, according to the Dan e Fukang preparation and preparing method CN 100364516 C(2).
Oral and topical ginseng induced menometrorrhagia or tachyarrhythmia probably through its arrhythmogenic effects against ventricular tachyarrhythmias(3).

Carotenoids, including include alpha- and beta-carotene, beta-cryptoxanthin, lycopene, lutein, and zeaxanthin carotenoderma is associated to the risk of hypothalamic amenorrhoea(4). According to Ashford and St Peter's NHS Foundation Trust, deficiency of carotenoderma may induced hypothalamic amenorrhoea cause of reproductive dysfunction even without weight problems(4),
Excessive beta-carotene food-intake also may demonstrate physiological amenorrhoea, causing deteriorated the yellow discolouration of the skin(5).

The smoothie with single ingredient Panax ginseng may be effective for prevention and treatment of
menstrual dysfunction. And the combination of Panax ginseng  and tomato smoothie may hold a key in further studies in production of an effective natural ingredients for prevention and treatment of menstrual dysfunction with carotene deficiency without inducing adverse effects.

Women who are at increased risk of menstrual dysfunction, due to family history,... should drink at least one cup daily. Women with menstrual dysfunction, should drink no more than 4 serving daily depending to the digestive toleration.
