2. Essential fatty acids
Essential fatty acids, including arachidonic acid in the olive oil beside helping liver in metabolism of protein and fat, it also regulates the endometrial tissue during themenstrual cycle(1).

3. Essential oil
Essential oil made from olive is said to reduce the pain(10) in the abdomen. By placing a few drops of essential olive oil on the abdomen and gently massage until the oil is completely absorbed into the skin will help the muscle of the abdominal to relax, thus reducing pain(11).

6. Iron
It also contains iron that is vital for production of red blood cells(14) and increases the levels of oxygen(15) for the body cell need. Without enough iron, it increases tension of the nervous system such as dizziness, fatigue, headaches, loss of concentration and memory(18), anxiety(16)(17), depression(17) and other emotional disorders(16).
